The Easy Set trap takes only one hand to set and release so there's no fiddling with a sensitive mechanism when setting it or releasing a trapped animal.

Some animals are very wary of entering a space that looks like it has no way out so that a 2 door model will sometimes catch a wily animal that a 1 door model won't.

The smaller squirrel trap below is well suited to trapping the red squirrel and flying squirrel, while the larger ones are good for catching the fox squirrel, gray squirrel, and ground squirrels.

Set the traps with sunflower seeds or unshelled peanuts and place them in the areas frequented by the squirrels or along paths commonly used by them. If you opt for live release, captured squirrels should be released far away, some say as far away as seven miles, to ensure they don't return.
